SPACE: 24,000 sf
INDUSTRY: Safety Equipment Supplier
The majority of the space is dedicated to an open office layout, with additional glass partitions creating private offices. Private executive offices are equipped with audio-visual technology and enough space to accommodate group meetings between employees and executives.
The Witmer leadership was very involved in the details of the design, and the result is a design that reflects their unique family-owned company personality. A priority for the Witmer team was to create collaborative breakout space. To create the open, airy atmosphere of the breakout space, the Formcraft design and construction team worked together to preserve elements of the old building. The high ceilings and older structure were adapted to the new use while keeping the industrial look. The loft-like space incorporates the bones of the old building, circular columns and wood panels blend the old and new for a fun and vibrant atmosphere.
Throughout the office attention to detail characterizes activity based spaces. The reception area is filled with red and blue branding touches, while the coffee bar is designed with more relaxed earth tones and raw materials. Lighting fixtures equipped with LED technology brighten up the entire office, and a linear fixture in the boardroom stands out as a particularly sophisticated piece. Other decorative fixtures bring more personality to the office, along with bold carpeting and wood feature walls.
